Superhero Taisen GP: Kamen Rider 3-gou Film's Trailer Previews Race Scenes

The trailer for the tokusatsu (special effects) film Superhero Taisen GP: Kamen Rider 3-gō (Superhero Wars Grand Prix: Kamen Rider #3) began streaming on Thursday and gives previews the film's race and action scenes. The film's star, actor and singer Mitsuhiro Oikawa, performs the theme song, "Who's That Guy?"

Tetsuo Kurata (Kamen Rider BLACK, Kamen Rider BLACK RX) is reprising his role as Kotaro Minami/Kamen Rider BLACK. Kamen Rider Faiz (Kento Handa), Kamen Rider Garren (Hironari Amano), Kamen Rider Zeronos (Yuichi Nakamura), and Kamen Rider Drive (Ryoma Takeuchi) will also be in the film. The mixed-marital arts fighter and professional wrestler Nobuhiko Takada is cast as the villain Black Shogun.

The film will show Kamen Rider Drive from the latest Kamen Rider series when he first meets Kamen Rider #3. Kamen Rider V3 will also appear in the film. Ishinomori first presented Kamen Rider #3 in the "3-gō Rider Tai Black Shogun no Maki" (Rider #3 VS Black Shogun) manga one-shot in Bessatsu Tanoshii Yōchien magazine on October 1, 1972.

Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider Drive & Gaim Movie: Taisen Full Throttle film director Takayuki Shibasaki returns to direct Superhero Taisen GP: Kamen Rider 3-gō. Shoji Yonemura (Kamen Rider Decade, Kamen Rider Kabuto, Smile Precure!) wrote the screenplay.

The film will open on March 21. Participating theaters offered one of two different Kamen Rider notebooks with each advance ticket on February 7.

Toei Lists 2015's Precure, Kamen Rider, Nin'ninger Films

Kamen Rider Drive/Nin'ninger in summer, Go! Princess Precure in fall, Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider in winter



Movie distributor Toei confirmed during its 2015 Lineup Unveling on Tuesday that it will release the tentatively titled films in its Precure, Kamen Rider, and Super Sentai franchise this year. The paired Gekijō-ban Kamen Rider Drive/Shuriken Sentai Nin'ninger The Movie screenings will open this summer. Eiga Go! Princess Precure will then open this fall. Finally, Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider Movie Taisen 2016 will open this fall.

The Kamen Rider Drive and Go! Princess Precure television series premiered on October 5 and February 1, respectively, while Shuriken Sentai Nin'ninger will premiere on February 15.

Lost Heroes 2 Premium Edition Includes Bonus Super Famicom Game

While Nintendo hasn’t made Super Nintendo games available on Virtual Console, Bandai Namco is offering Hero Senki with the premium edition of Lost Heroes 2. The 1992 RPG also has characters from Gundam, Kamen Rider, and Ultraman in it. Instead of a dungeon crawler, Hero Senki is a traditional RPG where heroes are on the right side of the screen and enemies wait for their turn on the left.

Lost Heroes 2 Premium Edition has an option to play Hero Senki from the main menu. Bandai Namco also added 20 theme songs from various Gundam, Kamen Rider, and Ultraman series in game similar to how J-Star Victory Vs. has an anime theme version. A 300 page art book with concept art from Lost Heroes 1 and the sequel is also included in the 9,500 yen Premium Edition. A regular copy retails for 5,690 yen. Lost Heroes 2 comes out on February 5.
