Power Rangers Samurai and Power Rangers Wild Force actor Ricardo Medina Jr. was arrested for the alleged stabbing of his roommate but will face no charges, confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter.
The Los Angeles County district attorneys office determined that there was a need for further investigation into the death of Medina’s roommate, Joshua Sutter. Medina allegedly stabbed Sutter in the abdomen with a sword, said police. Bail for Medina was set for $1 million after he was jailed following the incident. Following a court date, Medina was released from jail and not charged. If there is more evidence to provide upon further investigation of the death of Sutter, the district attorneys office will decide how to handle the situation. The district attorneys office has not ruled out charging Medina at a future date.
Medina starred as the red Power Ranger in Power Rangers Wild Force in 2002. In Power Rangers Samurai, Medina played the villain, Deker, from 2011-2012.
